At the end of October 2020, Geely Auto has become the first Chinese auto brand which succeeded in selling more than 10 million units globally. By 2024, Geely Auto’s cumulative global sales exceeded 17 million. Geely Auto has won the sales champion of Chinese auto brands consecutively in five years.

GLOBAL R&D CENTERS
HANGZHOU - CHINA
The research center in Hangzhou is responsible for the research, development, and testing of vehicles and key parts. Together with the other R&D centers, Geely has formed a comprehensive platform to develop, research, and tests new innovations for the auto industry.
NINGBO - CHINA
The R&D center in Ningbo, covering an area of 415 acres, integrates the research and development, test, quality control, supplier collaborative development, and independent R&D capabilities for vehicles, engines, transmission.
GOTHENBURG - SWEDEN
The R&D center in Gothenburg focuses on the development and continuous improvement of the modular architecture and components for the next generation cars.
COVENTRY - UK
Founded in 2018, the R&D and design center in Coventry has contributed to the latest innovation in terms of design and functionalities of the new Geely Auto models. The center showcases the commitment to the UK and also shows Britain’s leading position in the areas of creativity and design.
